Colorado Avalanche - Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Stanley Cup 2006 Play off, Second round

SC: First off, sorry for the tough loss tonight. Secondly, how did you feel when Hinote scored the first goal of the game tonight ending the streak? KS: Well we knew it was going to be another tough game for us. We knew we had to be more physical, play with more energy, more speed and Danny scoring that first goal broke the two game zero points streak so that gave us more confidence. KS: I think we played good tonight- We have to forget about this game now and think about our next game. We still need more traffic at the net and to play more physical and keep shooting. Their goalie is hard but we can beat him too- we had 3 goals tonight. We just need to keep more traffic and keep shooting. SC: Any thoughts on the penalty calling in the playoff games thus far? KS: It is the new NHL so we just have to be ready for every call and make sure we keep our sticks out of the way and not draw too many penalties. SC: How will you prepare for the next game? KS: We all need to refocus and take it one game at a time. We need one win then can build on that one win. Anything can happen. SC: Are you following the World Championship Hockey Games? KS: Yes, I am. It was a big big win for Latvia today over Slovenia. I think they have a chance to get qualified. It is good because they play at home and we have great fans there so that helps.
