 Naslund shines in Canucks victory

Markus Naslund had a pair of goals to lead Vancouver Canucks to victory. Markus Naslund thought thought Vancouver Canucks had enough chances against St. Louis to score 10 goals. By the end of the game Vancouver Canucks scored more than two goals for the first time in eight games while having 44 shots on goal. The Blues had a chance to win because of Bacashihua. Recalled from Peoria of the AHL, Bacashihua got his first NHL start of the season one night after Manny Legace was pulled in Edmonton for giving up four goals on 15 shots. Bacashihua finished with 40 saves, including a number of spectacular stops. First goal was scored by St. Louis Doug Weight in first period at 8:57 the assists went to Jeff Woywitka and Lee Stempniak. Second goal of the game was scored by Vancouver Canucks Brendan Morrison in first period at 14:49 the assists went to Matt Cooke and Mattias Ohlund. The third goal of the game was scored by Vancouver Canucks Markus Naslund in second period at 6:17 the assists went to Henrik Sedin and Mattias Ohlud. The fourth goal of the game was scored by Markus Naslund in second period at 18:00 the assists went to Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin. The fifth goal of the game was scored by Keith Tkachuk in the third period at 12:34 the assists went to Doug Weight and Martin Rucinsky. The final goal of the game was scored by Ryan Kesler in the third period at 18:59 and the assist went to Alex Burrows. After the game during the post game interviews Vancouver Canucks Head Coach not only loved the fact that his team won but as well the fact that the team never give up and he gived the example of with 30 seconds to go into the game Markus Naslund blocked a shot.
