Another Western shootout

Colorado Avalanche playing their second game back to back in two nights came out full speed forcing Luongo to make a big save with only 30 seconds into the game. But in the end it was a game that was all offence and no defense. While the goals were being scored a number of mistakes were made by both teams defense wise in order for this goals to be scored. For the fans it was a game to be remembered for the players and for the teams staff it was a game to not be forgotten and to make sure the same mistakes will not happen again. Though the final score was Vancouver Canucks 5 to Colorado Avalanche 4 the total shots were not high since Vancouver had only 20 shots and Colorado 36 shots by the end of the game.

If you are a Vancouver Canucks fan or a Trevor Linden fan it is worth mentioning that Trevor Linden played his 1300 game which is a huge achievement no matter how you look at it.

Colorado Avalanche scoring came from Andrew Brunette scoring 2 goals, with Brad Richardson and Ian Laperriere rounding up the goal scoring each scoring 1 goal for the Colorado. Vancouver Canucks scoring came from Brendan Morrison scoring 2 goals, with Daniel Sedin, Matt Cooke and Henrik Sedin rounding up the goal scoring each scoring 1 goal for the Colorado.
